We went to the zoo today. My favorite animals are the sea lions. I couldn't tell you why, I just think they're so cool. This is one of the best pics I've ever gotten from that exhibit!

We were invited to go to a "prom" @ a friend's church. We got all dressed up and danced the night away. (or in my case watched the dancing) The boys needed to eat dinner after their baths and before they got dressed up. They were all sitting @ the counter waiting for their dinner in their underwear. It was like a Haynes commercial! Only cuter!

On Thursdays I go to my friend's house for a small bible study group. She generally has some little snacks for us to munch while we do our discussion. This time there were cheese, crackers and pretzels, and someone decided to make one into a flag of sorts. We all just sat there and stared @ it until we laughed. It wasn't really that funny, just kinda weird.

This is my snap dragon garden. Last fall, a snap dragon just showed up in our yard. Neither of us had planted it there, but there it was blooming nicely. So this spring I decided that's what I was going to put in that bed. I went and got all the colors of snap dragons I could find. They're actually doing well too. All of them are blooming!

Back in January we planted some seeds to try and grow a garden. We stuck them in a green house and have taken care of them diligently for months. Today when we watered our plants we noticed a carrot sticking up out of the dirt! Taylor was so excited that he could actually SEE a carrot! I just love his expression in this pic.

We went downtown today and sat in a garden area while we ate our dinner. This bird came up and sat on the tree next to us and kept chirpping. I have always loved the song of this particular bird, but I don't know what kind of bird it is. Regardless, I played with the zoom capabilities on my camera and got right up to it!

On Saturday I was weeding in my front yard at the corner of my house. I was startled by a rustling in the longer grass in the flower bed. I figured it was a mouse or small bird. When I looked a little harder I was shocked to find a female duck sitting on a nest! I don't know which duck it is, but I think it's Alice. I'm SO excited that we're gonna have ducklings this year!

Daniel has been having some trouble breathing lately. Asthma runs in my family, in fact I've suffered with it my whole life. I knew right away what the problem was, but all the things I normally would do for myself didn't seem to help the little guy. So we took him in. This is him the way too big gown.

As I've shared before, we usually go to the Barnes and Noble Storytime on Wednesday mornings. This morning we got there and it was packed with people. I almost left, but didn't want to spoil the fun for the boys. Turns out that they had a guest story teller for the morning! Bruce Sussman read several books to the kids, and he did a great job! They were glued to him! He read a book about weather which the boys loved because they love weather! We're gonna make sure we watch the weather tonight so they connect who they saw this morning. Bruce was kind enough to pose with the boys for me! (And yes, I realize Taylor looks like he has to pee... that's boys for ya!)

This is Lancy Kull. She's the daughter of some of our church's missionaries. She is a missionary herself in Thailand and she's visiting the states for several months before she has to go back. She's been coming to our ladies bible study and wanted pics with some of us. She's such a sweet young lady!

We had to get a new wagon because our old one broke. This time we bought a really nice one. It came in a big box and we had to assemble it. The kids were given the task of picking up all the packing material and putting it back in the box. They all got distracted with the bubble wrap! Taylor was so consentrated on popping all the little bubbles!
