We went downtown today and sat in a garden area while we ate our dinner. This bird came up and sat on the tree next to us and kept chirpping. I have always loved the song of this particular bird, but I don't know what kind of bird it is. Regardless, I played with the zoom capabilities on my camera and got right up to it!

I drug out an old I Spy book out of my bookcase for the kids to look at. We sat there for a good hour looking for everything in the book. It was a lot of fun!

I FINISHED BOTH SOCKS!!!!! They fit and everything! I'm SO proud of myself!

I have mentioned that I'm learning to knit socks. I finally finished one of them! And it looks like a sock! Imagine that!

Taylor was not behaving very well during church on Sunday, so he wasn't allowed to go down for children's church. apparently he thought Jim's sermon was boring, cuz he fell right asleep!

On Saturday I was weeding in my front yard at the corner of my house. I was startled by a rustling in the longer grass in the flower bed. I figured it was a mouse or small bird. When I looked a little harder I was shocked to find a female duck sitting on a nest! I don't know which duck it is, but I think it's Alice. I'm SO excited that we're gonna have ducklings this year!

Today we went to Donna's house for some fun! The kids had a blast feeding the chickens and ducks. They played with the bunny, on the swing set and climbed trees. Ethan was SO proud of himself for climbing that tree!
